It is a week-long Christian residential camp in Waymart, Pennsylvania (the foothills of the Poconos). Camp is open to youth ages 8 to 17. Camp Kurs is a place of spiritual and personal growth, a place where independent and collaborative thought and action are developed and supported. Most of all, it is a place of joyful experience.
Our camp programs are designed to develop growth and maturity. Youth attending camp are assisted in developing their maturity in faith, responsibility, enjoyment, sport, and inter-personal interaction. Key elements in each day’s schedule include: Group exercise; Performance of shared chores such as cleaning, maintenance, and food service; Holy Mass; Study/Lecture; Free time for swimming, sports, or just relaxation; Group/Team activities; and so much more. Each day includes a themed dinner and evening activities concluded by Compline/Night prayer.
