Mr. Paul Gorgol

Attended camps at the Spojnia Farm from ages 8-17 during both the YMS of R KURS and the St. Stanislaus Parish week long camp.  Returned as a counselor for 4 years starting in 1988.  Like the old saying, I drank the water and can’t stay away, I now help as the chief bottle washer in the kitchen since 2018. The love of the Retreat Center, the many good times I’ve had there, the many friends I’ve made – of all ages, since now I watch the youth that I counseled send their kids to the camp – and the many times of sitting overlooking the farm and dreaming of what could be, has led me to join the Board of Spojnia, Inc, the governing body of Spojnia Farm and all its properties, with the hope of improving the facilities and grounds so many more generations can experience the good times and friends this sacred place provides.

Paul is owner of Pools Patios & Porches, mid-Maryland’s largest pool, patio and swimwear store with two locations in Frederick and Smithsburg, Maryland.
